HALLOWEEN AFICIONADOS

We truly love Halloween!  What's not to love?!  Our favorite part?  Dressing up of course!  This year we decided to do a Hogwarts theme.  The girls are students, Scott is Professor Snape and I am Professor Mcgonagall.  We love dressing up with a theme.  We even won the family first prize (a $25 gift certificate to Target) for our ward Truck or Treat Halloween costumes!

The girls sewed all of our costumes this year.  (Special thanks to Trina for teaching and guiding them!)  And our wands we made using an idea from Pinterest.  It was lots of fun!

YW AT THE PUMPKIN PATCH

 

Last Wednesday the Young Women went to the pumpkin patch and corn maze.  It was a lot of fun!  The girls sang camp songs on the hay ride.  And it was a beautiful farm.  What a fun outing!

A year ago, we were privileged to attend Key Lime Pie's patriarchal blessing.  Today we fortunate to attend our baby daughter's patriarchal blessing.  Kotten Kandy is truly a special daughter of our Heavenly Father.  She has an important role in her life to eternal salvation.  Her talents and true blessings were evident through this sacred gift she received today.  She, like her sister, will accomplish many great things in her life.  I am blessed with two AMAZING daughters!  We love you, Kotten Kandy!
