HERE'S A PEEK:

What a month:

I got to work for the elections.
I lost my voice and my cheeks hurt from smiling.
But I enjoyed making everyone feel good about voting.
My Dad went to Scotland with my brothers.
They are all nuts from the same tree!
I'm pretty sure I was adopted. LOL
I loved getting all the photos from my dad's trip.
I'm so glad they had such a great time!
My daughter... seeing her book in print.
She's a published author!
And it's a great book!
Here's the link for ordering:
My beautiful Mango!
And my son... running 15 miles in the snow!
I'm so proud of him... but also wondering how he became so crazy!
Snow and running - not my forte.
I wasn't sure I should post this picture... but my husband thinks it's funny.
My sweatshirt (thanks to my daughters) with the game that inspired the pick.
Katia wanted a picture with two of her loves: Mango and Jude
Kiara Lea got to go shooting with Cole and Shanae.
Love them all!
Speaking of Kiara Lea... she's lost 40 lbs.
I'm really proud of her.
And these two handsome guys got haircuts.
I sure love them!
Mango is 3 months old!
This is why I love being a grandma!
Look at that smile!
There ought to be a law against being so adorable!
I feel pretty.... sometimes.
Mango got to go meet great Grandpa DeGooyer...
and Grandma DeGooyer!
Scott LOVES being a grandpa.
Kiara is teaching Skittles how to break bread for DeGooyer stuffing.
It's insane how happy this picture makes me.

Scott went to Ohio with Jose, Chris and Stephen to watch the Ohio State football game.
They had soooo much fun!
And Ohio won!
They also went to a basketball game....
Seats at the VERY top of the stands.
And a bit of church history touring.
Thank goodness for good friends!
I am feeling so blessed this past month. I'm grateful for my family, friends and the gospel of Jesus Christ! I can't wait to celebrate Thanksgiving next week and continue thanking my Heavenly Father for all of my blessings!!!!!!

MY ALL HALLOWS EVE

Grandkids make Halloween so much fun! Since our daughters are grown, we now get to celebrate with even more: our sons and grandkids! Check out our Halloween fun that spanned an entire week:

Katia wanted to recreate her first Halloween picture with Mango.
This is the result.
I'm in love!
Grandpa Scott got to join in the carving fun with the Browns.
Skylar carved R2D2!
Katia chose to cut books!
Scott loves his buffalos.
The Browns dressed up as Jimmy John employees.
Mano was the sandwich.
I love her tomato, onion and lettuce hat.
Aren't they cute?!
Pokemon was the theme for the Lillywhites.
Skittles is Charizard.
Cody is Ash.
Kiara is Evie.
This grandma has had to educate herself on pokemon characters.
I dressed up as the witch from my new favorite Halloween book:
A Spoonful of Frogs by Casey Lyall
I enjoyed reading the book to ANYONE who would listen... especially my grandkids!
Red Skittle even read books to me too!
Our trick-or-treating crew:
Evie (aka. Kiara)
Charazard (aka. Red Skittle)
Jimmy Johns employee (aka. Katia)
Jimmy Johns sandwich (aka. Mango)
My favorite memory of Halloween night was watching
all my children (and husband) do Just Dance to Thriller and Ghostbusters.
They had so much fun laughing and dancing together.
I got to hold Mango. And Scott was taking pictures at this moment.
Of course, we stayed up until midnight to celebrate NaNoWriMo.
(National Novel Writing Month)
It's a tradition!
Grandma and Grandpa took Red Skittle to the park.
Grandpa is a great sport.
I love this boy!

MY ALL HALLOWS EVE
by Me!
Nothing is better than grandkids, I'm sure.
But All Hallows Eve has great allure.
I celebrated with my offspring:
We made time for trick-or-treating.
Mango was adorable, a real treat.
Skittles got candy up and down the street.
Everyone danced and ate until midnight.
Then NaNoWriMo demanded we begin to write.
We're crazy, no doubt, but genuine.
I love this crazy family of mine.
