HE HAS RISEN!

Easter is so wonderful! I love celebrating my Savior, Jesus Christ, and His love for me and everyone! As Scott and I get older, Easter looks a bit different. Our daughters are in charge of coordinating with the Easter bunny and helping their children to know the "REAL" reason for the holiday. But we get to watch on and enjoy the smiles, and understanding. Here are some pictures of their celebrations (and our own):

Mango's First Easter

She doesn't understand it all yet....

But Kotten Kandy felt loved!

And Skylar was seen by the Easter Bunny too!
Red Skittle loved hunting for eggs!
And this boy makes me smile!

Then there are the family photos of all my loved ones:

Berry and Jelly Donut
They may be GJ's grands... but I claim them too!
And Lemon Drop also belongs to me via my sister!
I miss taking the Bettenhausen's Easter picture every year!
I love these guys!
Mango, SKylar and Katia
Kiara, Cody and Red Skittle
Me and My Sister
Don't you love our matching overalls!
I feel like I'm 7 again - and twinning with my sis!
We are good together! I love this man!

Happy Easter! I know that my Redeemer lives!

BONUS POST:
We surprised Scott's brother, Brett, last week. He starred as Bert in the musical production of Mary Poppins. Wow! He was fantastic! Brett has talent! I'm so glad we made the trip.... and on the way we also got to see two nieces: Shanae and Chanelle. (Chanelle was also in the show.)

Shanae had no idea we were coming... We just showed up!
I love this girl!
So excited to see the show!
"Step in Time!"
Bert (aka. Brett) dancing on the rooftops!
I really think Brett stole the show!
Brothers!

GENERAL CONFERENCE & THE SUNKISSED HOMESTEAD

We love General Conference in the DeGooyer home... and even when Scott is visiting his parents in St. George, I love knowing that the entire family (Scott, Kiara, Cody, Skittles, Katia, Skylar, Mango and I) are all watching the latter day prophets.

Orange Danish Rolls - a tradition from my childhood
I watched with these four amazing humans:
Me, Dad, Ken, GJ, and Sheila
Scott watched from his parents living room

And snuck a picture of mom and dad DeGooyer....
Scott and Dad got to go to the temple later in the week too!
Skylar and Katia watching with a nine month old....
She loved listing to Elder Holland talk about children!
And they enjoyed sweet rolls!
Skittles and Cody during conference.
And Kiara's perspective.

Besides General Conference, GJ and I also had our first farmer's market event for our new business: The SunKissed Homestead. It was soooo fun! I love working with my sister! And we did better than expected. Yay, us!

We sell infused honeys, and different jams and jellies.
(Dandelion Jelly was a favorite!)
We also sold some of dad's kazoos and some balms and salves.
Zane LOVED the Dr. Pepper jelly!
What an awesome brother!

Speaking of dandelions:

Have I mentioned how much I LOVE dandelions?
Does the perfect picture exist?! Yes!
Isn't Mango perfect with her dandelion?!
She is precious!
My heart!
Annnnnnnd... more pictures:
What happened to the 6 year old boy I used to teach piano too?!
He's all grown up and going to prom!
And Mary too!
I didn't give either of these two kids permission to grow up!
I love and miss both of them sooooo much!
I LOVE this Mango girl!
Daddy piggy-back rides are the best!
Enjoying the warmer weather!
And mommy's hoodie!
Mango and Kotten Kandy
I'm one lucky grandma/mom!
And my daughter makes things fun around her house...
getting ready for Easter!
Cody is a good sport!
And this cute red head is my favorite grandson!
Key Lime Pie and Red Skittle posing with their ancestors.
(My mom's grandparents: Bryan and Elsie Winward)
And Kiara in my mother's dress... She is rocking getting healthy!
I'm so proud of my children and grandchildren! I love working with my sister! And General Conference was perfect! I feel so blessed!
