No one asked... but I'm going to tell anyway. When Scott and I were chasing waterfalls last week, Kiara, Cody and Skittles went to Idaho to attend a wedding. Yes, we missed "our red-head!" He has been attached to grandpa and I since returning to Kentucky... and we are soaking in every minute of it! Here are the adorable pics I was sent of their trip:

CHASING WATERFALLS IN KENTUCKY - VACAY DAY 3
We a LOT on Friday. The waterfalls in Kentucky are more spread apart. But we enjoyed jamming to 80s tunes, snacking on trail mix, reading Brad Wilcox's new book, and visiting. The hiking was still exhausting and difficult, but definitely worth it! There are truly some gorgeous places in this state we call home. We also saw a lot of the back roads... so interesting to see how people live in different parts of the United States (even in our own "backyards" so to speak.)

CHASING WATERFALLS IN TENNESSEE - VACAY DAY 2
Do you remember the 80s song by TLC, "Don't Go Chasing Waterfalls"? Well... we did not take their advice. We decided we wanted to see ALL the waterfalls we could in the space of two days. We started in Tennessee.

GARDENS AND GODDESSES - VACAY DAY 1
Scott and I needed a vacation. So we decided to hit the road. We had a couple of destinations in mind, but no idea where we might end up. Day one: Tennessee. We first went to Cheekwood Mansion and Gardens. It was ah-may-zing! Scott and I love walking through gardens and admiring the beauty of the plants, flowers, designs, and ponds. Heavenly Father has given us so much beauty to enjoy! We are blessed! They also had some fun Lego displays throughout the gardens. People are so creative.
After Cheekwood, we went to the Parthenon. I really enjoyed brushing up on my Greek mythology. I always enjoyed the stories. Athena was spectacular. And Scott and I really enjoyed the artwork of Lynn Goldsmith. Her collection is called "Through the Looking Glass." For some reason it "stuck" with me.
