'TIS THE SEASON

What a crazy, busy month! But I feel so grateful for ALL of my blessings! (Warning: LOTS of pictures to follow.) Here's a glance at our busy lives:

I finally went to see the musical, Wicked, in the theater with these two amazing ladies!
It was fun! This isn't the place for my full review of the movie, but suffice it to say it was OK.
I like the theatrical version much better!
Yes, it snowed!
But there was a morning that looked like this too...
And my daughter received this sweet gift from her son:
I love my Red Skittle soooo much!
And I can't count my blessings without adding Mango alongside my grandson!
That smile!
My amazing son ran 33 miles - on purpose!
It was a race - where they ran as far as they could run before they died.
After 33 miles - this was my son - dead to the world.
I'm really proud of him!
Scott and I really do enjoy painting.
So we were creative on Sunday to celebrate Christmas.
My family LOVES popcorn.
We blame dad!
GJ LOVES aprons.
She blames popcorn.
I made popcorn.
Using a GJ apron.
Dad had to prove that he has an apron too!
Christmas Sunday smiles!
Kiara and Skittle
Skittle and Cody
Katia and Mango
Skylar, Katia and Mango
Christmas is love!
Sad news for Kiara: her cousin is moving.
Shanae and Cole are beginning their new adventures in Washington State.
They got sodas together and took pictures...
They have loved living so close and being best friends.
Bitter-Sweet memories.
I absolutely love these two girls and their close friendship!
It's a blessing that my daughter, and my sister's daughter are such amazing friends!
"Shhhhhh! Daddy's sleeping!"
Katia and Skylar surprised me two weeks ago by showing up to spend the evening with us.
They also went to church with us... and I got ALL the Mango cuddles!
I was one happy grandma!!!!
Scott's work party was tons of fun!
I love that my husband and my sister work together!
That way I get to spend time with BOTH of my favorite people!
(Apparently I have lots of favorites...
And if I don't mention that Kiara, Katia, Cody, Skylar, Skittles and Mango
are also my favorites, I get in trouble with my daughters! Ha ha ha!)
Guess who else works with my husband and my sister?
Zane! He's soooo cool!
I'm so grateful for the Christmas season!
Grateful for these two who are "doing" life with me!
Grateful for the love of a wonderful man who makes me a better person!
I'm grateful for Christmas, for my family, and for the Christ child who came to earth so humbly...
and who willingly sacrificed for me and saved us all!
Merry Christmas!

SMILE MOMENTS

All these photos are just happy moments in my life, or the life of my grandchildren, for the past few weeks. Check it out:
I finally got to meet my niece's baby, Lemon Drop.
Lemon Drop is just soooo cute!
I love babies! And Lemon Drop is such a sweet one!
I love that my daughter and her family love painting....
Kiara Lea is really growing in her skill.
And Red Skittle LOVES painting with his parents.
He's getting better too....
My son was playing with color...
And, yes, he's grew a beard for no-shave-November.
Don't let it distract you.
Ha ha ha!
Everyone (but me) decided to go see Wicked.
Sheila, Katia, Shanae, Mariah, Kiara, Beka, GJ, and Emily
My daughters have been fans since they were in the womb.
They grew up singing all the songs.
Katia always sang Glinda's part.
Kiara belted out Elphaba's songs.
When they were 4 and 5 years old they dressed up as Glinda and Elphaba for Halloween.
So they were really excited to see the show.
Mango LOVES smiling for her daddy.
Katia sent this photo to prove it.
I got to facetime both of my grandchildren at once.
Boy! I was so happy to visit with them!
My dad is soooo proud of his new Christmas tree.
I'm excited for him too!
It's definitely his style.
Kiara is such a good mom.
When she takes her son out to dinner, she really pays attention to him.
Their one on one time is adorable!
Although it wears him out.
The future is so bright, he's gotta wear shades!
Skittles decided to try on grandma's sun glasses...
Shanae took this picture during Thanksgiving.
Mariah with Berry and Red Skittles
I got to take family pictures for GJ.
The sun wasn't in the best place, but my posing was on point.
What a great looking family!
Mango wearing an outfit JUST for GJ and me!
Mushrooms on her shirt in honor of Grandma Sundy.
Overalls in honor or Aunt GJ.
I'm in love with this beautiful little girl!
Babysitting: Berry and Jelly Donut
What fun! I sure do love these two cuties!
Scott and I got to go to Ryan Shupe and the Rubberband's Christmas show!
Ryan Shupe was super fun! His bluegrass-y style brought so much joy to Christmas!
It was AWESOME! We had soooo much fun!
I love my cute husband who treats me to live shows once in awhile!
The frost has turned to ice for the past few days in Idaho.
It looked like stars. Pictures don't do it justice.
My granddaughter is 4 months old!
I love my little Mango!
Those are just some of my smile moments! I'm blessed! And I'm "caught up" on my blog! :-) Does that ever happen?!
