TO MORROW ... and HOCKING HILLS

Scott and I were soooooo excited to go to Morrow, Ohio.  Why?  Because of the Kingston Trio:

To Morrow The Kingston Trio with Lyrics - YouTube

My dad introduced me to this wonderful song as a kid.  When we learned there really was such a place, we "started on a journey... to a little place called Morrow in the state of Ohio."  (Dad was totally jealous.)  Here's what we found:

They actually have a sign!
And a train!
And a beautiful walking bridge.
That's about it.
If you blink, you'll miss it.
Then we went to the Columbus temple for a session.  It was beautiful!

The stained glass windows were gorgeous - blue flowers!
Columbus Temple
And Hocking Hills is spectacular.  Although we hiked like crazy, it was totally worth it!

Since there has been a bit of a drought, most of the "falls" were merely trickles.
But the rock formations, and the trees, and the bridges, and the caves, and the hikes were spectacular!
This is what the majority of each hike looked like.
Scott loves taking pictures of EVERYTHING!
Lots of stairs and rocky climbs - I was sore for 3 days afterwards.
A brick making abandoned park.
We found this place by accident.
And who doesn't love cabooses?!
And we got a new game to play in the evening at the hotel.
It was a lot of fun.
Although Scott won each time we played.
Our mini vacation was soooo much fun!  I definitely recommend visiting Ohio - especially Hocking Hills.  Although don't pass up a chance to go to Morrow while listening to The Kingston Trio too.  I love these adventures with my eternal companion!

For those of you who want more pictures... Here are MANY more.

I LOVE MY STUDENTS!!!!! - AND KATIA!!!!!

Last week my seminary kids surprised me with a small party to visit and eat treats and play games.  I felt sooooo loved!  I already miss these kids soooo much!
A few of the kids couldn't make it...
But I'm sure blessed to know these amazing teenagers!
Jonah - Nate - Emalene
Elijah - Mason - Dakota
Grace - Jacob - Suzanne
Mason's mother crocheted this adorable hedgehog for me.
We played 1-100 and it came down to one number between Scott and I.
He won.
Katia's 23!  My baby is 23!  She and Skylar celebrated with birthday donuts.
That smile makes me grin from ear to ear!
Then... my son and daughter (Skylar and Katia) went to Zion's Park last week.  The pictures were beautiful!  And they had a great time.
AND.... a few other fun pictures:
Emalene and I twin a LOT!
These mushrooms are popping up in our yard over night.
Aren't they perfect?!
And this amazing Kentucky sunset!!!!!
