PUMPKIN PATCHES, CONCERTS, FOOTBALL, AND AUTUMN

My adorable grandson got to go to the pumpkin patch with his preschool class.  He told me it was so much fun, but his favorite part was the hay ride.
He still had corn kernels in his shoes 5 hours later.
He loves animals.  He loves goats.
My Red Skittle as the 2nd pig who built his home of sticks....
Knocking at the 3rd pigs home.
Lucky mom got to attend the field trip too!
Two days later, Kiara and I went to a concert.  Four former Phantom of the Operas performed show tunes.  I cried.  I laughed.  I was in awe.  I wish I was more eloquent so I could express how wonderful these musicians were.  We were 5 rows from the front.
At the show!
The Four Phantoms
The two on the right were my favorite phantoms!
After the concert, the entire family went for a walk/run.  (Cody ran, the rest of us walked.)  Then we went to breakfast at Dennys.
The gang after the 5K.
These two crazy guys ordered hot chocolate and got coffee mugs.
They thought it was so funny - so they snapped a pic.
Two days later Scott went to Minnesota with Mark, Davis, Tyler and Ryan.  They went to Minnesota's football game.
Scott, Davis, Ryan, Mark and Tyler at Minnehaha Falls.
And the game!
Vikings fans for one night only!
Don't worry, Scott still LOVES the Jets!
Go team!
It's definitely autumn here in Idaho.  I saw this beautiful tree!  I had to share.  And then my grandson loved the yellow leaves in his neck of the woods.
My dad described this picture as a "two faced" tree!
I love the yellow!  And the hint of green was so unique!
The tree is now bare....
Fall beauty!
I'll end this short post with a few misc. pictures:
He is wearing his new tie from Grandma and Grandpa for church....
Making funny faces for grandma!
The "antennae" are actually an easel. So funny!
But he's adorable when he's "fighting off the bad guys."
He plays hard.
And between GJ and Tara, I got a beautiful flower arrangement.
I love having a sister with a flower farm, and another sister who when she goes to pick some flowers always brings some back for me.  I'm blessed!

NATURE'S BEST

For Kiara's 25th birthday, Katia and Skylar took Kiara, Cody and Skittles to Yellowstone National Park.  Both families reported (to me) that it was the "best trip ever!"  They sent me tons of photos, and it was hard to narrow it down.  So here's my attempt:

The whole gang!
These are MY people, MY FAVORITES!
Aunt Katia with her adorable red-headed nephew!
Skylar and Katia are picture perfect in every way!
And the Lillywhites are just as photogenic!
Red Skittle was mezmerized.
Love these two!
And these two!
Father and Son
being silly together!
MY girls!  I love them soooo much!
My son!  And I'm not sure I want to know what he's doing.
But I still love him with all my heart!
They wore him out!
And for those of you who love scenery photos, I've got you covered.  Here are some beautiful shots in Yellowstone.

Yellowstone National Park really does equal Nature's Best!
And my daughters' and their families make it even better!

CONGLOMERATION

I just learned a new word: conglomeration: a number of different things, parts or items that are grouped together; a collection.  Sooo... this is a conglomeration of the past few weeks.
Scott and I got to go support a few more family members in their soccer games.  We are so proud of our niece and nephew.
Dad, Scott and I with the highest scorer on her team: Cantelope
Tostitoes played so well!  And he's handsome to boot!
Then Mariah had a bridal shower.  It was lovely - just like her.
I know Mariah LOVES books.
So I got her a few items to decorate her bookshelf with - including an antique-looking water jug.
GJ and Sheila also gave Mariah books for her collection - books that were a part of Grandma T's collection.
My amazing nephew, Licorice, keeps finding me amazing mushrooms.  I love his thoughtfulness.  And of course, I find quite a few myself.  I just think they are so beautiful!  Sooo... I have to share.
This one is yellow.
You should have seen the huge one he got me.
I didn't get a picture.
There were hundreds of mini mushrooms in about a 4x4 ft. space.
They were so cute.  My grandson loved touching them.  He said they feel rubbery.
This one we saw growing out of a stump on our way to church.
Scott saw it and allowed me to get out of the car for a picture.
Isn't it lovely?
Red Skittles came to visit again.  For Mariah's wedding to Peter Koerper.  Here are some adorable pics of my grandson.
He was so excited to get his own little container of bubbles to blow at Mariah and Peter.
He had to practice to actually get a bubble.
He was so excited when he figured it out.
And then Mariah's wedding was beautiful.  From the pictures, you can see how much Peter loves her.  I'm so grateful she found him and that they chose to get married here in the Meridian temple.  I was so excited to celebrate with her.  Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Koerper!
Aren't they amazing?!
And RIGHT after the ceremony, my sister, Kristi, took this amazing photo of the eclipse.
And these two munchkins had so much fun at the reception.
They played so hard!
Our grandsons:  Red Skittles and Berry
Scott and I at the reception
I've also been making the best raspberry jam with my dad's raspberries, if I say so myself.  Apparently the raspberries have a history.  They come from my dad's best friend, Gary Smith, who got them from Alaska.  Alaska raspberries are DELICIOUS!

I also was asked to take family pictures for my daughter.  Unfortunately it was raining when planned to take them.  And unfortunately, Skittles didn't enjoy the photo shoot.  But some of the pictures turned out ok.
And here is a conglomeration of photographs that are really just random:
This cool grandson!
And he's so silly!
I finished this cross stitch.
I loved seeing two of my sisters wearing cute overalls.
I begged for a picture.
Aren't they AWESOME!
I need a pair of overalls.  Then we could be triplets.
I love throwing rocks with my grandson.
We went and threw rocks twice this past weekend together.
He's a lefty!
I had to get this dinosaur sweat suit for my Red Skittle!
I plan on blogging about my daughters' trip to Yellow Stone next.  So stay tuned.
