THE MAGIC OF A DeGOOYER CHRISTMAS

Scott and I wanted to take pictures with these amazing
Christmas ornaments all December...
Finally... the day after Christmas!
Christmas Eve is our favorite!  It's when we feast, give gifts to the Savior, get new PJs, read Luke 2 and watch the Nativity Story.  It was fun to share our traditions with Sheila!  We missed Katia, but she was so happy on her mission, that we couldn't help but be happy for her!  Our grandson made the holidays even more "perfect!"
Turkey, Ham, Twice Baked Potatoes, Cheesy Broccoli Casserole,
Stuffing, Red Hot Jello, Rolls and Bubbly
I love this adorable man of mine!
Marvel PJs - for all!
Sheila loved the pajama tradition!
And isn't this family adorable in their PJs?
We started calling Skittles "Spidey"
Sheila loved the pockets!
I love the joy on her face!
This guy!
He's adorable!!!!!
I'm in love!!!
First Christmas!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

TRADITIONS... TRADITIONS... TRADITIONS...

It snowed last week.... Our first snow this Christmas.
It was gone before noon....  I'm OK with that.
We are going to have a beautiful, warm Christmas!
My work party... Bowling and Fun
with people I love!
I'm blessed to have such a great work family!
Natalie made me this bright, happy, yellow shirt!
I love it!
Kiara and Cody took my grandson to Texas for a week.
I'm glad Grandpa Lillywhite got to visit with him...
But Scott and I sure missed our little guy!
They loved the warm weather in TX.
And everyone loved Skittles!
Kiara made this cute layout:

Skittles was SOOOO excited to
FaceTime with Grandma!
I was thrilled too!
Scott and I decided we needed a hamburger...
It was a fun date... but we missed our tag-a-long, baby girl.
She loves Red Robin!
When Skittles came home,
Grandma spoiled him with his very own Speedway soda!
And Nuts got braces!
Kelly DeGooyer made me this incredible
quilt for Christmas.
It's called an Eye Spy Quilt.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!!
Lilly sang like an angel and really helped me feel the
true spirit of Christmas at her voice recital!
I'm so glad I was invited!
Christmas outfits - on my two adorable boys!
Starburst and Skittles
Christmas Sunday with my grandson!
Our Hanukkah tradition of blue candy canes and "Fiddler on the Roof!"
And our DeThortenhausen Christmas celebration!
Of course, I was in heaven, with these two little guys!

P.S. This week was full of miracles! Christmas time is the best time to be a missionary! We found 2 new people to teach! We reached out to over 100 people to Light the World this week! It was crazy, but oh, so much fun!

P.S.S. Remember to read Luke 2 tomorrow night! Something I've realized in full lately is just how good this season is. Why? Because of the reason: Jesus Christ! It's simple, but true!

P.S.S.S. Mission Conference was so so so good! President and Sister Southward, really help you feel their love everytime you're with them. The Conference was so uplifting and I left with a deep desire to be the best I can be and to share what I know with others.

P.S.S.S.S. There were so many good full days this week! Sunday was incredible, the chapel was packed for both services! It's times like those when you really feel the goodness of life!

P.S.S.S.S.S. I almost forgot! David Archuleta came to mission conference, it was so good! He shared with us some stories about his mission and talked about carrying on the mission after you are released, it was inspiring! He prays with every studio recorder before they start, isn't that neat?! Prayer is powerful!

P.S.S.S.S.S.S. Have a Merry Christmas!! I love you all!!!

This is Mom:  I had a wonderful picture sent to me by Katia's stake president:
