DeTHORTENHAUSEN'S REUNION - A MONTH LATE

Over the Memorial Day weekend, we had such a wonderful reunion with our Kentucky family! All of us were there (except for Elder Nathan Bettenhausen). It's amazing how even after being apart for over two years, we still feel and act like family! Yellowstone was incredibly beautiful! But the company was even better! I'm soooooo grateful for our DeThortenhausens!

WHAT HAPPENED TO MAY?

May has been wonderful! I can't even begin to express all the joy we've had this month. I'll try...

Of course, May starts with May Day! I sent my daughters crocheted bouquets.

Mango and Kotten Kandy
Key Lime Pie
The Browns love celebrating Star Wars Day on "May the 4th" Be With You:

Skylar, Katia and Mango are dressed for the event.
And then they went to the theater to watch the movie.
It was Mango's first movie in the theater. She fell asleep.
Scott joined in the fun.
Sheila put on a great concert with her YSA group. They jammed out to gospel music WITH Yahosh Bonner.

Isn't Sheila adorable!
Me - Sheila - GJ
She's the one in the middle.
My nephew, Kade, got married to a wonderful girl: Sarah!

Kade and Sarah
Aren't they cute?!
Then came Red Skittle's 6th birthday! He celebrated with a Minecraft party. Grandma and Grandpa got him baking supplies and dinosaur accessories.

Bro, He's SIX!
He got to see the movie with his parents.
And he helped make his Minecraft cake.
Isn't he the cutest little baker?
He's so smart and capable. I just adore this kid!
He enjoyed his Creeper pinata.
I held my first piano recital in Idaho. I sure love my piano students!

I love my little studio.
Everyone of these kids had never done a recital before.
I was sooooo proud of them!
And Mother's Day was so fun!

A rose from church

And my daughters got me Foyle's War DVDs
Kiara went hiking with her to guys!
GJ and I are still LOVING our new business. We're having lots of fun!

Best Friends Forever!
I LOVE my sister!
I worked at the voting booth this month too!

Unfortunately not a lot of people came out to vote, so I read an entire book while I was there!
The Bronze Bow was a good read.
And...

Ashton came to visit from Kentucky so we went to Red Robin.
Mango finally made it into Jude's dog crate. She was so proud of herself.
My daughters got to visit together and sent me photos.
Isn't Mango just precious?!
I love to see the temple! ... and Katia!
I'm glad we are eternal companions!
Scott is so good to me!
My amazing primary pianists - Abbi!
She is a treasure!
She just got her mission call to Scotland/Ireland.
Love these yellow fields in Idaho!
Mango is 9 months old!

But wait! There's more... Stay tuned for next week's post when I write about our DeThortenhausen Family Reunion at Yellowstone.
