We went to a concert. To be honest, we are too old to be attending concerts, but it was totally worth it! We had so much fun... especially watching our girls have the time of their lives. BUT next time Scott and I need to remember that we need at least 3-4 full days to recuperate. Ha! Ha! Ha!

Between Shows....
Crazy!
The opening act was a group called Oliver Hazard. We recently learned about this unique three man group from Bael, and Scott and I instantly liked them. Kinda like the Lumineeres, these guys have a folksy/singer/songwriter vibe. Check out their songs Dandelion and Gold Teeth Girl. Oliver Hazard:
Devin, Mike and Nate
Then we saw Saint Motel, one of Katia's favorite bands of all time. They were LOUD. But really fun to watch. I especially like the lead guitarist. How would I describe their sound? Indie Pop/unique/showy. Check out my favorites: My Type and Move. A.J. Jackson - the lead singer
Kinda a nerd who didn't know how to grow up,
but also a musical prodigy.
Aaron Sharp knew how to rock on the guitar.
He was my favorite one to watch.
It was fun to have our grandkids in town for the show also. Here's some adorable pictures of them... because they are my favorite people to photograph!Just a boy and his aunt's dog....
This kid never liked the sun in his eyes.
At the park
We regularly take our swords to the park.

And grandpa adores them too.
