DAY TRIPPIN'

Scott, Katia and I decided to take a day off!  We rented a car, and drove to Natural Bridge State Park.  We hiked.  We saw.  We took lots of pictures.  And we had a blast together!  (BTW I'm so sorry this post is so picture saturated... but everything was gorgeous!  I had over 200 pictures to choose from....)
The top of the bridge
This bridge was very unstable... but kinda fun.
Beginning the day...
Looking down... I don't get too close to the edge... unlike my husband and daughter...
I love these two soooo much!
Look at those roots!
Kotten Kandy and I love taking silly selfies...
We never get bored...
And sometimes Scott joins in...
And we make memories!
Balancing life!
The Natural Bridge would be called an Arch in Utah... but it's a Bridge in Kentucky!  It was pretty spectacular.  We enjoyed going under it and walking over it.
The hike was difficult because of the 77% humidity.  But we made it and had fun doing so.
This tunnel was only big enough for one car at a time.
Kinda spooky and cool at the same time!
This is Chimney Rock.
I liked it.
Isn't my daughter special?!
She loves nature!
And she loves hanging out with her parents!
I couldn't ask for a better kid!
Scott wanted to pose with a "natural" umbrella...
These leaves were huge.
And they were everywhere.
Cool lady!
Awesome husband!
Wonderful daughter!
Terrific guy!
Meditating in nature.... Ummmmmmm...
Us!
This is so funny!
I love my husband!
Hanging close to the edge.

We also went to Devil's Gulch.  It was a steep hike down... and a bit scary.  But, again, we made it!
Then we went to see the Chimney Rock and the Princess Arch.  Both were absolutely beautiful!
After a happy, and exhausting, day of hiking, we decided to try and find an usual restaurant in Lexington to have dinner.  We found an place called Tolly-Ho.  They serve breakfast AND hamburgers 24 hours a day.  They have old fashioned video games.  They have milk shakes.  They were delicious.  We really enjoyed this out of the way place.  Yes, we recommend it.
Such a fun eclectic restaurant...
Yummmmm.
I loved spending time with my husband and baby girl.  I look forward to spending more time exploring with Scott.  And I'm really going to miss my Kotten Kandy for the next 18 months while she serves the Lord as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Today was LOVELY!
