FOR THE BEAUTY OF THE EARTH....

WOW!  I can't even describe in words how truly amazing Yellowstone National Park is.  Heavenly Father has created such beautiful places for us to visit and Yellowstone is one of the grandest.  There was a sense of spirituality and wonder as we marveled at the great beauty that surrounded us.  We were blessed to witness the unique landscape, the majestic geysers, the incredible wildlife, etc.  (Really.  Pictures and words do not do this park justice.)

It was incredible to see the geysers and hot pools...

We didn't test the water, but we could feel the steam,

and smell the sulfur.

For the beauty of the earth,
For the beauty of the skies,

For the love which from our birth

Over and around us lies.

I love these guys!  (I just miss my eldest daughter....)

Wildlife closeup....

We saw a lot of American buffalo in their native habitat.

They weren't scared of us at all....

But we stood about 10 feet back.

This elk was only 3 feet away.

His antlers were huge!

These rare birds were my favorite wildlife!
